Privacy options AFTER description of field

With the latest version of this plugin and Buddypress 1.7, it’s working. The privacy options are displayed AFTER the field description.

If it’s not working it’s because you are using an older version of buddypress plugin and it doesn’t have the new filter “bp_custom_profile_edit_fields_pre_visibility”.

I have Buddypress 1.7 and latest of your plugin…

mmm, It’s curious because in one of the latest versions I’ve changed this using the new hook of buddypress 1.7 to show the fields before the privacy options.

Sorry, I made a mistake. What I changed with the latest updates is the position of the custom fields but not the description. Buddypress 1.7 introduce a new hook as I say “bp_custom_profile_edit_fields_pre_visibility” and I use it to show fields before the visibility setting.

The description has no hook, you can see it in the template of your registration page, so to show the description in other place you need to move it manually overriding this template.

I cannot do anything I think in the plugin to change this.

Also, when people put their birth date, i get a 00:00 at the end for the time i think on profile page…

If I could do something in the future, I will but it depends if buddypress change this and I don’t think they will because you can edit your theme files so it’s not a thing from the core of buddypress really.

I have just registered in your website and I can’t see what you’re saying about the birth date. Can you show me where do you see this?

I was writing you here and then i have upgraded the plugin as there updates were available. After the update i could not see the 00:00 anymore.

I saw your registration, if you need me to “increase your power” by making you an editor or something to use more functions in the dashboard to test / work on plugin just let me know.

All seems ok now, without the 00:00 after the birth date.

I hope that the main problem i reported will be possible to be solved in the future.
