Privacy error message popup

    I use the subscription form via widget in a sidebar and additionally via shortcode on an extra newsletter page.

    In the widget the privacy error message is shown as popup with the correct German text (as I have it entered in the admin panel).

    On the page with the shortcode the error message isn’t displayed as popup but as text in a “bulb” directly at the checkbox. And the German text isn’t the same than the text in the widget message.

    1. Where can I edit that text or from where does the plugin take this text? I couldn’t find any file with this text.

    2. I don’t want the privacy error message to be shown as popup, not with the shortcode and not with the widget. I want it to be shown as bulb (as on the page with the shortcode).

    Could you please advise how I can fix this?

    The “bulb” is HTML5 validation made directly from the browser. Every browser make it in a little different mode and there is no need for translation since the browser shows it in the right language.

    To disable it you should code a form manually.
