Privacy checkbox in Blog Subscriptions widget

-Can you share more details about what is not appearing correctly?
– Is there some additional functionality you’d like us to consider for the widget?

This is an example how it should be in JetPack plugin. It’s just a random picture from internet.

This is something we’re considering, but it’s lower priority at the moment.

The act of subscribing on a blog is an explicit action, essentially they are optining-in by doing it. Additionally, a confirmation email is sent with an activation link which must be clicked to proceed. Both are explicit opt-in actions.

Privacy checkbox – it’s a mandatory option in all subscription forms in Russia (152 ФЗ “О персональных данных” / 152 Federal Law “About Personal Data”).
Can you add it ASAP, please?

Jetpack’s Subscription form relies on what’s called “double opt-in” to collect consent from your readers before we send them notification emails about your posts: when someone uses the subscription form on your site, they first receive a confirmation email with a link asking them to confirm their subscription. If they don’t click on that link and thus agree to receive an email, they will not be subscribed to your site.

You consequently do not need to add a checkbox to your Jetpack subscription form.

Yes, I know about “double opt-in” option.
But form still should have a checkbox “Yes, I agree with your Privacy Policy“, where phrase “Privacy Policy” is a link to real Privacy Policy on website.
