• Hello,

I’m using Learndash, a premium plugin. The author provides a poorly translated .po file with each update.
I want to know if it’s possible to have my own translation in the global folder and to know which one has priority (as there will be TWO translations files).
How can I setup Loco to edit the good one ?

I’ve also thought about downloading locally my translations and upload them after the upload. There is a download button for the .po and .mo but no upload button ??

So I’m a little bit lost with this issue.

    Best regards
    Cedric

Hi. I had to try this myself. Loco picked up the custom translation file and ignored the bundled one. So I think this will do what you need.

There was no upload feature in the original version of this plugin, because it was intended as a developer tool and so assumed you had access to your server. Version 2.0 will provide an upload.

    Thanks for the test.
I made the test also.. on two different sites (different theme but same plugin).
It worked on one, not the second one.
    No idea why ??

Happy to hear about the next 2 version, sounds great

Version 2 is available for beta testing now: https://localise.biz/help/wordpress/translate-plugin/developers

No upload feature as yet, but the plugin has a runtime helper that allows you to modify the priority of MO files
