Prior webmaster still getting emails

Hi there:

I just took over a site from someone else; they built the site and I’m now updating it and adding pages and so on. When I added pages I did not set them with comments off, so the thing is getting spammed now; which is fine since they’re moderated and not showing up.

But, the prior webmaster contacted the guy today and told him to tell me to remove him as moderator since he’s getting notification every time a new comment goes up.

I checked every section of the blog and his email is not listed anywhere. There is only one administrator, and it’s attached to my email address. I don’t know where the instruction to notify him is coming from but I would be happy to remove it if I could find it.

Anyone have more suggestions re where to look?
