@maximmmus AIOSEO will print the title you enter in the metabox for the page, or if you don’t set one yourself, it will fall back to the default title format you can set for every post type/taxonomy in the Search Appearance menu

So, it is completely normal that the title that AIOSEO outputs isn’t always the same as the default WordPress title.

    Hi,

I meant the title which is printed by AIOSEO is the title of a different random post. It seems AIOSEO is not using the AIOSEO outputs for the wp post title. If I look at any wp post on my site the title which is printed by the AIOSEO is the title of a random wp post. I am not seeing the same bug for wp pages.

Can you post the URL of an example of such a post?

Check the example link from my first post. The title of that post is “Stiri Coronavirus Covid Romania | stirilezilei.net” but the AIOSEO is outputting the title of another post.
    Thanks

Can you also post a screenshot of:

    * The SEO title/description in the metabox (on the Edit Post screen)
    * The SEO title/description format under Search Appearance > Content Types > Posts

Hmm, at first glance I don’t know what’s causing this, but my money would be on a theme/plugin conflict.

I would go through these steps and see if you can narrow it down to a specific plugin or your theme – https://aioseo.com/docs/how-to-troubleshoot-issues-with-all-in-one-seo-pack/

It that doesn’t work, reach out to us via our Basic Question form here and our support team will be more than happy to take a look and see what’s going on – https://aioseo.com/contact/

    Hi,
I went through those steps from the link you posted. It is clearly the AIOSEO which brings in the random title.

In that case, please contact our support team via the link above.

    Hello,

I use All in One SEO 4.1.6.2 and have the exact same issue since lasts updates. The posts title in the browser’s tab is somehow wrong (random or offset) and shows other post’s titles. This issue does not happen with pages.

I have reviewed the settings and changed a bit the “Variables” in general settings and also in specific posts to see if after a change it fixed the issue, but no luck.

I have also updated to latest version of the plugin (v 4.2.0) and still the same problem.

I am pretty sure there is something in the latest’s versions of the plugin causing this issue. It didn’t occur before and in my case I’m using a custom template developed by myself, minimum usage of other plugins, and the debug isn’t showing any errors.

Do you have any news on this?

Thanks a lot for your help!
