• Hi all, Not sure if anyone else has this issue but my printful store keeps giving me this error message, {Error: A connection error occurred while requesting your server. Please check that your server is working correctly!}
    I have been consistently getting it and it sometimes goes away if i changed theme to storefront, clear cache, and logout-login, but that fix didnt work this time around. My host also increased my PHP limit but the error is still there and there seems to be no problem on their end. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? The printful plugin’s status all says OK, so it seems the plugin in functioning well , I am just unable to add any new products to my store as i’m reciving this error on the Printful website. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. x

  • @dilibertodesign Gee!! This is stressful.

    It’s working for me specifically at this time. HOWEVER – everything that I’ve not root caused and documented has always come to bite me so this seems like a problem that’s waiting to reappear with unknown timing.

    Did you reach back to @woocommerce to tell them that the problem has repeated recently? If your bug is hot, then having latest fails should help them in replication.

    I’m working. Just Checked

    Hi all, @jaywillie @ukelkar @dilibertodesign @dilibertodesign Just checking since we are all using the same host. My store has again come up with the server error. Just checking to see if its just me or if it is again a wider issue. X

    Mine too ?? Such a bad timing coz we’re about to launch the shop yesterday but it went out with that problem. Bummer!

    @nyssaanje Mine has been down for days up till last night, woocommerce updated this morning and shop isnt displaying the error. Like you I want to launch my shop but now afraid it might spontaneously have errprs when i do. Hoping the errors holds off. Let me know if yours works. x

    Miner’s not displaying the same error again but a different one. Still can’t add products and can’t import orders. I thought of importing orders now manually.??

    Do you still get the same error again? Coz I do.

    @nyssaanje Hi again, sorry i didnt check my mail yesterday. I have the same error again since yesterday. It’s exhausting. I dont have the time to do it manually so I’m honestly looking to use either another host or another integration method (instead of woocommerce) as i am unsure of where the problem stems.
    What is the error you are getting?

    It’s not showing the same error on mine right now but another error popped out whenever I add product. It says URL is not correct… even if it’s correct. Therefore I can’t add a product. ??

    @studiohjo – I was in a remote location without reliable WiFi- so I could see your email but not do anything about it. Today, I updated wooCommerce and the sync failures that had been happening for the past 4 days resolved themselves. Phew!

    Has your error changed since making the thread?

    Hi, I am getting the same issue today

    Thread Starter studiohjo

    (@studiohjo)

    @nyssaanje oh no. Havent had that one before. Have you reached out to printful chat?

    @ukelkar updating solved my error for 1 day after updating woocommerce. Then it was back again :\ Since i started the thread the error has been on and off, it works sometimes , but for the most part it’s there and I’m unable to sync my store. Seems to be something out of my control.

    @ruheeco bummer to hear , my store has had the error again since Saturday. Reaching out to printful today to see if it’s related to the plugin as it says incompatible with the latest versions of worpress. Let me know how you get on.

    Yep, I always reached out to printful but they always instruct me to check if the URL I pasted was right. Done this a couple of times until they just told me to forward the concern to their developer.

    @studiohjo @ukelkar @ruheeco @nyssaanje @jaywillie

    After MANY hours on the phone with Godaddy, we think it might be an issue with GoDaddy’s managed wordpress hosting. They aren’t allowing an update to the current PHP (which is recommended by both WooCommerce and Printful). They said they’re still testing it with their systems.

    In the meantime I’ve found a work around…

    1. Login to your wordpress dashboard.
    2. Flush the Cache (top menu in the dashboard Managed WordPress>Flush Cache)
    3. Open an incognito window in Chrome (File>New Incognito Window)
    4. Log in to Printful dashboard
    5. Make sure you accept cookies in the top right
    6. Go to shop and click “Refresh Data”, not the red button one, but the one in the top right.
    7. Usually on the third time of refreshing data it syncs.

    Thanks for this. Will try this out. Hope it will work on mine too ??
