Doing a website for my friend’s restaurant. He uses square for his in-house ordering and I’ve built his site with WordPress and we have integrated with WooCommerce to do online ordering.

We need to be able to print invoice from iPad in his store when orders are received. Need to be able to print it to a ticket printer if possible (may have to buy a ticket printer dedicated for online orders which is fine).

Would love to be able to print from the WooCommerce app instead of using the full browser site.

Any ideas for doing this? We tried using the existing ticket printer (connected via USB) but it’s an older printer and would not work (even after contacting the manufacturer and trying several printing apps).

Just need some guidance on how to do this– looking for most seamless way.

    Thanks!

As you mention you have Square and connected through Square, the order should post to Square as well. You can use this walkthrough on how to print from the Square app to somewhere.

When the order shows up in Square it doesn’t show all of the details of the order (specifically what was ordered).

@jthompsonjr As far as I know the Square plugin from WooCommerce only manages products and not orders. If a purchase is made through the Square gateway, it does not bring all of the order information through, it only charges the customer through Square.
