Print Button Text Showing In Excerpt

    Hello, on the front page I am displaying the three latest posts/recipes with an image and excerpt. However, I am having an issue where the “Print” button text is showing in the excerpt. Example: “Print Krispy Kreme White Chocolate Bread Pudding.” At this time I can’t publicly show the website link. If there is a way to send it to you that is not public please let me know.

    Hi Adrian,

    Could you try manually defining an excerpt for the recipe to show there?

    If you don’t see the excerpt field you might have to enable it from “Screen Options” in the top right of the post edit screen.

    Manually adding excerpt will work but I was hoping to let it pull the excerpt automatically from the recipes. But if manually is the only way to resolve it then I will do it manually.

    You’d have to check your theme’s code for how it’s generating that automatic excerpt.

    I am using a code to output the excerpt with HTML format and that was causing the Print Button text to show in the excerpt.
