I’m using the app builder. How can I add a print button on the detail view of a record?

I want users to be able to print individual records, not on the table list itself.

    Thanks

    Hi @juliekgen,

    Thanks for the post!

It’s currently not possible to print from the detail (form) view but that’s a really great idea so Peter is planning to add that in the future. ??

In the meantime, you can select a single row to export if you just want to print a single record, although the format would still look like a table.

    Example: https://share.zight.com/mXuQmjRm

In the next update, you’ll be able to choose which columns of a row you want to export.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have other questions.

    Hi @juliekgen,

The latest version adds a new option called “Allow detail panel viewing” under Row Actions.

    See here: https://share.zight.com/d5ujEzBX

The feature is available on both free and premium versions except for the Export to PDF option.

Feel free to try it out! ??

    Hi @juliekgen,

Do you see any console errors when you tried clicking the button?

We might need to take a closer look.
