• Just got Mantra installed yesterday and it’s GREAT! However, for some reason, only on the home page, if I move my mouse over any of the primary menu’s tabs, the text does not turn blue like it does on those same tabs on all other pages. If I move to a sub-menu item for that primary menu, those options DO turn blue, even on the home page; but still not the main tabs themselves.

I’ve not messed with the CSS within Mantra at all, and honestly cannot recall the mouseover font change working on the main page a single time since I initially got Mantra setup yesterday. Any ideas why ONLY the Home page’s tabs don’t text color change properly? Note that I’ve tested this under multiple browsers, but the problem exists in all cases.

    Here’s the site

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • All those links use # as the target. That makes WordPress consider them all link to the homepage and style them as “current page/category”.

if you’ll add proper links to the menu (pointing anywhere else except home/#), the menu will behave correctly.

You’re correct (I was using that type of link only temporarily, but didn’t realize the side-effect of doing so on the main/home page). Once I put “regular” menu items in place the CSS/effects on the tabs on the main page worked properly as well. Thank you for your help!
