Primary domain on subdirectory site redirecting to base

    I have a multisite that is redirecting the domain to the base URL but only on the front end.

    Steps I have taken so far:

    1) Point domain properly at server
    2) Added domain to the Site Address
    3) Tried the Sunrise method with nojoy
    4) tried the old MU Plugin method with no joy

    Hosting is through Cloudways.

    Hello @weskingnc

    I think, you have added sub-domain in the platform, but not on domain registrar.

    Try creating sub-domain in domain registrar too. Then check and let me know.

    I want to make sure I understand. I don’t want the primarydomain.com to end up pointing to multisitedomain.com/primarydomainsubsite.

    But you are saying that if I add a CNAME for multisitedomain.com/primarydomainsubsite with the value of primarydomain.com it should correct the issue?

    I haven’t made any changes. Just logged into the backend of the multisite. For some reason, now it is working correctly on the frontend.
