When I view my site stats on WordPress.com and check the pricing for JetPack pricing options, they show up in TL, Turkish Lira. The URL shows no signs of seeing the Turkish version, the rest of the language is in English. Why do I see a different currency? This is not because I am going to purchase a plan and cannot get the right information but out of curiosity.

Oh, it got magically fixed! It now shows $ prices. Abra Cadabra!

Well, I spoke too soon! The stats were loading very slowly so I refreshed the page and it reverted back to TL.

    Thank you,

Well, is there any way to disconnect me from WordPress Turkey so I can feel at home?!! And, see prices in USD.

It will load from the location you’re browsing from.

Are you possibly using a VPN or Tor that would be routing your traffic through another country?

@macmanx, thank you. I am in RI, USA, and have not left the country or my location in the US. I do not use a VPN, I connect using the local cable company.

I offered translation help to one plugin to Turkish and was given access to WordPress Turkey so that I could update files there. But, that was quite a while ago, maybe a year maybe even more. And, I did that work while at home, not in Turkey.

I ended up purchasing the premium JetPack and paid the amount shown in Turkish Lira, the English description looked like the same plan. Oh, well.

Thanks again. I used that contact option a few days ago but I have done it once more with a reference to this thread and to your name.

    Thank you,
