I have site that I am about to launch, but there is an issue that keeps happening. I have connected everything including price sync. Suddenly I see the prices not syncing for some reason, without me changing it.

I found out that it happened when I placed orders to test my site. I am currently testing when it is happening by placing test orders and cancelling them.

Does anyone else experience this? This is a bug in the system I need to get fixed, because I cannot constantly go check if the sync is on or not.

So I tested to order and cancel orders, but what seemed to cause it from shutting down price sync was when I changed currency in the shop from SEK to EUR, and placed an item in the cart. Why in the world would your plugin have anything to do with currency changes? The prices in the shop is always in SEK anyway.

Actually: all I have to do is change the currency in my shop to, for example, EUR, and the price sync shuts off.

    Hello @gofika,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

Your problem description leaves me with a bit of confusion, because making a purchase in your store, could not really affect the sync. I am fairly sure that this activity did not affect the price sync. The only things that affect the price sync are currency & tax settings.

    Let me explain both options:

    • The currency has been set for you in your Zettle account, this can be only 1 currency, so if you change the WooCommerce currency to any other, it will stop syncing to Zettle.
    • The tax settings, the settings between Zettle and WooCommerce should be matching, otherwise the price sync will not work. Next to that, you need to have at least 1 entry in the tax rate settings. This is also explained in our documentation here.

I would think that you might have made a change in the tax settings, so that would be my first advice, reading through and review on your site.

Let me know if that helped and if you have any further questions.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

You are right. The purchases did not affect this.

I think what is happening is that when I am logged in and on my store page, and change currency there, somehow your plugin is told I have changed currency in my settings, which is not the case.

This could be some problem with my currency plugin, but I do not know.

I will just make sure to check the price sync if I do any test purchases in other currencies, when logged in.
