• Hi Eva – Our prices in the feed aren’t matching our website anymore, and we can’t figure out why…? We haven’t made any changes.

  • Hi,

Sorry to hear that prices in your feed are different then the ones on your website. We did not change anything to how the feed retrieves prices either so it must be something else.

Are the prices in your feed old product prices and did the price updates perhaps never made it to the feed?

    Thread Starter joyryde

    (@joyryde)

No, we refreshed the feed 3 times and changed the product prices to test it. No matter what we change the price to on Woocommerce, the feed changes the price to be higher, like the examples above.

Can the example perhaps be explained by a TAX or VAT percentage? So the feed showing prices including VAT/TAX and your website without?

    Thread Starter joyryde

    (@joyryde)

Does the feed plugin now add tax to our prices automatically without us changing any settings?

No, we obviously did not make such a change however perhaps you changed something in your WooCommerce or tax settings?

    Thread Starter joyryde

    (@joyryde)

    How do we fix it?

Well I don’t know? Is the difference between the prices in the feed and your site exactly the tax/vat percentage?

    Thread Starter joyryde

    (@joyryde)

What tax? America has over 400 tax rates.

We just checked the feed again and the prices of the example product returned back down to $56, so the feed must’ve been having it’s own issues all day yesterday…but it’s set to refresh hourly and somehow fixed itself today.

@supportadtribes We are also facing issues in product price updates. It seems that the feeds not running automatically and also picking old pricing even after the manual update.

That sounds like a caching issue to me. Did you try clearing the cache of your browser and any 3th party caching plugin you are using?

Our website is on WPengine and we are using Autoptimize cache plugin. We did clear cache for both multiple times but no luck. Not sure why it is related to browser cache.

Can you please share the plugin debug.log URL with us so we can see how you configured your feed and if it is updating or not? Please also provide us with a product ID you believe is wrong.

The log URL is not opening. Please share your email to share the log file.

    Please see: https://adtribes.io/contact-form/

Also, please provide us with some product ID examples.
