Price suffix {price_excluding_tax} is showing price tax included

Hello ??

When I enabled the feature show strike out the price on the product page and a discount rule is activated, the default Woocommerce price suffix {price_excluding_tax} is no longer showing the price tax excluded but is showing the price tax included.

I know someone else opened a request for support regarding this same issue, was a solution ever reached regarding this matter?
