*NOTE* I know my versions of WordPress (4.1) and Jigoshop (1.17.11) are outdated but they have been working fine until now. Client has just released a new book so her time has been occupied with that and we haven’t been able to work on site upgrades yet – but we will, so please ignore that fact.

My client just released a new product and it is selling fine on the site using Authorize.net but I had to turn off PayPal because all of a sudden when the user checks out and goes to pay via PayPal, it is dividing the cost when ordering multiple books instead of multiplying it.

So, the book costs $14.95 and if customer orders 1 then goes to pay via Paypal it calculates correctly. If they order 2 or more then it is dividing the cost, so 2 books are showing on the paypal checkout page as $7.48 each. Obviously this is wrong.

After the first instance of this I turned off Paypal gateway so it doesn’t happen to other orders.

I know it may be with PayPal, since I haven’t upgraded anything and it was working fine with multiple items until recently, just wanted to see if there may be any thing in the Jigoshop Paypal payment code that I can go check.

Where in the product code does it total up the price from /checkout/ and send it to PayPal.com?

    TIA

took the plunge and updated Jigoshop to the latest version. This fixed the issue.

Not sure what it was, since I hadn’t changed code in awhile – maybe Paypal API changed a bit and the latest Jigoshop update took the PayPal change in to consideration?
