Price shows as 0.00 even with Version 2.4.2

    Hi

    I had been modifying price.php to get rid of the .00 from the price before Version 2.4.2 however with the update to Version 2.4.2 price.php seems to be completely ignored. I can delete the file and the site works perfectly fine. I’m still getting the price displaying at 3500.00. I have removed the currency symbol from the settings but still displayed with the extra .00. I’m at a loss as to what to do now.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Steven,

    There are two ways you could have it not formatted as a price (i.e. to have round numbers show with no decimal).

    1. You could include the currency symbol (or another non-numeric character) directly in the price (instead of using the setting to add the currency symbol).
    2. You could roll back to version 2.4.0, which was the version before the implementation of the newer price formatting.

    While I wouldn’t normally recommend rolling back and using an older version for an extended period of time, one reason method 2 might make more sense for you is that you implied that you had written custom code for your prices. Since we can’t help with that kind of customization, and that customization was working on version 2.4.0, it might make more sense to roll back to that version until you can update your customization to function with the current version.
