• Hello Everyone,

    I have a problem with the variable products price range.
    I use woocommerce with the Storefront theme, and I mostly have variable products.
    I sell furnitures and my problem is that when I set the variations there are a few which shows the price of the product, but you can also buy extra parts (like an extra shelf for a wardrobe). So when I upload the product the price range starts from the lowest variation. For example the wardrobe price range shows: 10$-600$
    I would like to show only the main price for the product, like 520$-600$, and also list the spare parts in the variations dropdown for 10$.

    I know that I can disable price ranges and show only the price of the main variation on the shop page, but I would like show the customers that they can choose from other options than what is shown on the main picture.

    I hope somebody can help me! Thank you in advance!

  • Have you looked at add-on plugins. The idea is that you variations would be just:
    #1 wardrobe type 1 $520
    #2 wardrobe type 2 $600
    and the add-on is the extra shelf. The shelf is not included in the variations and its price will not be in the variation range.

    The customer can tick a checkbox or radio button for the shelf. The choice can have a cost and both will progress through cart, checkout and emails. You can have several add-ons.

    There’s extra product options;

    Booster (free) has an add-on module:

    There are also several premium add-on plugins with extra features if you like the concept.
