Price per weight issue – choice to order in decimals

  • I’m looking to allow customers to buy ‘X’ gram of a certain product. (We sell mainly fresh vegetables and fruits which normally are quoted on a price per kilogram but I have to allow customers to buy 50 gram or 350 grams and I simply do not seem to get this done. Easiest to me seems that my price is simply price per kilogram but the weight bought by client has to be allowed to be 0.4 kg or 0.250 kg and now the quantity choice does not allow decimal numbers. Your help would be appreciated

  • You would need to revise the form and add a selector, one for kilograms one for grams, assuming it won’t also be say 1.5 kilograms. If so, then the form should be modified to be a text entry field for amount and a pull down for grams or kilograms…this is a very generic answer to a very generic question.
