from testing out the calendar for date ranges, it looks like if someone quickly selects a different number of days than their previous option (for example moving from 3 nights to 5 nights) the booking calendar doesn’t seem to keep up with the calculation and returns the previous 3 nights total – I don’t have any caching set-up on the website, am I missing a setting somewhere that will prevent this?

    Thanks

    Hello.
Please note, plugin is sending ajax request during each final seletion of check out dates. So if someone was selected 3 days and fastly reselect to 5 days, system will show firstly cost for 3 days (for first request of days seletion ), and then show cost for 5 days selection (for second try of days selection). Just was retested it and it’s how it’s working.
If the second time the cost is not showing, so it’s possjble only in case if some internet connection erro appear with user browser.
    Kind Regards.

It doesn’t end up showing the 5 day cost though – I have tested this in my own browser(s) and it only shows the 3 day price overall, is there something we can do to fix this? As it is a major problem for our client as they are having to honor the prices that the customers are getting.
    Thanks

    Hello.
I have retested once again, and every-time (when I was selected check out date), system is showing correct number of selected days and correct cost of the booking.
Please reply with this query to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com so then I can send to your video screen cast of test at your website.
If you are having this issue, so as in my previous comment, I can suggest only because of interaction in internet connection…
Otherwise, you can remove from the booking form (Booking > Settings > Form page) the showing cost and dates hints (shortcodes like [cost_hint]) and at the payment form will be showing correct cost relative to the number of selected dates. Additionally you can activate to show “Payment booking summary” before “Pay now” button(s). You can activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
    Kind Regards.

We still need to be able to show people the cost for number of nights before the proceed to booking, so it’s not really possible to take out the costs entirely. We have tried it on another computer in the office and it does the same move from 3 days to 5 days quickly and it gives the 3 day cost, this time however it was only the first time the user changed dates, after that it showed the correct costs.
I have emailed the support as requested with a link to here

    Thanks
