Price mismatch

What is the URL to your feed XML, and a URL to a product page with a price mismatch?

Aside from the extra energy efficiency min/max values in the feed XML, which I’ll filter out in the next version, your feed XML looks fine. The Schema markup in your webpage looks fine too. I wonder if we’re looking at a bug with the Google merchant crawler – it wouldn’t be the first one, lol. The Google merchant crawler is different than Google’s search crawler, and only recently started parsing Schema markup. It’s never been very good, but they do seem to be putting some effort in improving it recently. Looking at the validator https://search.google.com/test/rich-results?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmellins.nu%2Fprodukter%2Fkonserver%2Fgranovita-nut-luncheon-nuttolene%2F results, the merchant validation is reporting a problem with the HUR UnitCode, which is incorrect – that’s a valid UnitCode. If the Googler merchant crawler / validator is having difficulty parsing the Schema with shipping information, you could try deactivating the WPSSO WCSDT add-on and clearing the cache to see if that fixes the issue.

It is called: WooCommerce’s (Json-Ld) Structured Data Bug
This bug is causing a mismatch of the price in Google merchant.

This feed plugin https://rextheme.com/best-woocommerce-product-feed/pricing/ has a fix for that problem.

Yes, the Google merchant crawler is very buggy, but so far our customers have not had any issues when using unique product IDs as suggested by Google. There must be something a bit different about your markup, which is why I suggested deactivating the WPSSO WCSDT add-on.

FYI, in the next version of WPSSO Core and WPSSO GMF, the requested variation will be moved topmost in the Schema offers array to fix possible edge cases like this. I’m not a fan of doing this, as it disables caching in the plugin for variation requests, and caching plugins must be configured to disable caching for variation requests, but until Google’s merchant crawler gets a bit more intelligent, it can be a temporary solution for edge cases.

I deactivated the WPSSO WCSDT add-on, but it didn’t do anything.

FYI, latest stable versions of WPSSO Core and WPSSO GMF were released earlier today. This should hopefully address your price mismatch issue by moving requested variations to the top of the offers array. If you’re using a caching plugin, make sure caching for query arguments is turned off.

This is from the cache plugin WProcket that we use.

I don’t see any options for caching query args in that image. By default, like all caching plugins, WPRocket should not cache the WooCommerce product page if there are query arguments for the variation. See https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/971-caching-query-strings for more info.

I’d like to +1 this issue with @joelmellin. I followed him here from the Google Product Feed plugin thread since I’ve been having the same price mismatch issues for a long time with two of my variable products. I’m still on GPF, but I’m open to switching to this feed plugin if the recent updates resolve the issues for him.

Sorry to say, but the issue is not resolved. The recent updated did not do anything to this problem. I am thinking about switching to this:

@joelmellin What is the URL to an example product variation (ie. with the variation attributes in the URL) that Google merchant is reporting a price mismatch with? What price is it expecting, and what price is it reporting finding? I’ll have a look at the Schema markup and to make sure that variation is top-most in the offers.

As you can see here Google merchat says the value of the website is 46 SEK, but this is only true for one of the variations. The other variations have a higher price, but Google thinks that value should also be 46 SEK. So there is a mismatch.

I’m happy to help, but as I mentioned, I would need the URL to the variation so I can check its markup. There are link icons in the image you shared – I would need the URL to one of those incorrect variations.
