Prev/Next buttons

  • On my main page there are prev/next buttons that display the previous post, WITHOUT the comment pop-up on the page. When a prev/next button is clicked on a permalink page (which has the comments up on the page) it goes to another perma page with comments up. How can I make the buttons on the perma page go to prev/next post pages instead of perma pages so the comments don’t appear unless clicked?

    I have tried a few of my ideas but haven’t found anything to work yet. I imagine that I either need to change the prev/next code on my perma pages, or change my perma pages to not automatically display comments (although I don’t know if that is at all possible)

    Please let me know any suggestions you have or where I could find the info I need to work this out. Thank you.

  • 1- There is no link to show your problem.
    2- It is a Theme feature, and we dont know its code.
    I suggest you find a theme that do what you want, copy the few lines of codes (by comparing with your files, usually the index.php is the good one) and paste them to your theme.
