previously clicked menu link remains selected even when opening the homepage url

Hi,
I am using wp-dtree pugin for my navigation menu in side bar. In my wordpress site, I have selected my homepage as a ‘static frontpage’. The tree style menu is working properly and I am being redirected to correct pages on clicking the links. However, when I close the window and open the website again, the default front page is loaded correctly, but in the menubar the selection/highlight is on the menu item which was last opened in the previously (before closing). Is there some way to avoid this problem ?
