• Hello,

I get this weird issue today. In the excerpt of a search result I got all my previous queries that are similar to the one I search and my name. This is a custom post type with indexed custom meta box. I included the content from meta box through relevanssi_excerpt_content as is indicated on the plugin website. In the settings I chose ‘visible’ to index all visible custom meta. What is the problem?

This is screen shoot of the result

    Thank you!

If you change the “visible” to a specific custom field name you want to index, does the problem go away? Sounds like you might have a custom field that stores the previous queries, that would be the easiest explanation for this.

    No, the problem remains.

Did you rebuild the index after changing the setting? If you did and the problem remains, I don’t know – you need to figure out what is storing the search queries and where they are stored. Relevanssi is not doing this, that much I can tell: if you enable logging, Relevanssi does store the search queries, but they won’t appear in search excerpts or get indexed for posts, unless you explicitly make it so.
