• When you get to the bottom of the archive pages and choose “previous posts” it just reloads the same posts.

This is happening on two sites I maintain:

    https://www.teresabrazen.com (running WordPress version 3.3)
    https://www.jenniferheller.com (running latest 3.3.1)

This problem has been happening on teresabrazen.com for a few months. I did not code the theme so I’m at a loss for what to do.

The problem just started happening at jenniferheller.com, running Thesis with basic customizations that do not mess with the query.

Any help at all would be fantastic. I am really baffled.

  • If you’ve already tried disable/re enable all plugins, try another theme and see if the archive pages work right. If they do, you should next try to retore which ever template files have the “basic customizations”.

Duh! Well that fixed jenniferheller.com. I’m still working on teresabrazen.com. Thanks!

nice! which was it? plugins or template mod?

It was a template mod. I had a function that was telling the site not to load posts in a certain category on the front page and that was somehow ruining it.

The other one is going to be a lot harder as it is a custom template written by someone else. : \

Chances are it was a simple coding error, you should be able to fix it to accomplish that. (and by the way, that does mess with the query:) just sayin’)

Very odd that the other site has the same problem but not the same cause. What are the odds?
