• I am trying to not have links in sidebar show up on any page except index. I have been successfull in modifying my theme so that they do not show up on individual posts, category, or archives. However, I discovered that sidebar links do appear when viewing previous posts via posts_nav_link. Anyone know of a way to modify, maybe use a different page template, archives for example?

Thank you for the prompt reply. I am still a little unclear on how to apply a page template to the pages generated when a user access the page through posts_nav_link. I did set up a home.php thinking that it would use that for the blogs homepage and then use index.php for the other pages, but no dice. It continues to use home.php.

basically I am just looking for a way so that

    blog.com/

has a different page template than

    blog.com/page/2/

    thanks in advance
