• Hello,

I have the setting enabled “Only show upcoming events in feed.” This was previously working, but now previous events are showing on the front end. The interesting thing is that the past events are not displaying on the backend of the website to even remove them. Please help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I could be wrong, but you appear to be displaying the archive page for the el_events custom post type, rather than a page containing the Event List shortcode.

Archive pages will display all published posts (of a certain post type) and will by default display them descending by publication date. WordPress itself knows nothing about events, so it will ignore the event start and end dates altogether.

The previous events are not showing up anywhere on the backend, but displaying the frontend. I can edit the individual event if I access through the front end, but they are not listed in the event list on the backend.

I seem to remember there is a bug with the filter in the back-end, check some of the older issues if you can find it. I don’t remember if there was a fix and if so, what it was.

I take it you have chosen the Past filter in the back-end?

Yes, I have the past filter selected on the backend. Can you help me resolve this issue?

Which Word-press version are you using?
