Previous Entries bug – but I only have 1 entry
-
I’m using WP 1.5.1.3, and I only currently have 1 entry. The ‘previous entries’ link is showing up on the main page, in the date archives and the category archives, but obviously when you click it you get a 404 because there aren’t any other entries to go to. I even have the index set to show 3 posts on the same page.
This isn’t a theme issue either, because I’m also getting the ‘previous posts’ link in the admin area under MANAGE > POSTS, and this is indepedent of theme. Obviously when you click on that, it goes to a screen showing ‘No posts to display’. I’ve even poked around directly inside the database in mySQL, and there’s nothing to see – I thought that maybe there’d be blank entries with no content, but there’s nothing, just the 1 existing post.
What’s going on? Why does WP think there’s more than one post? I’ve noticed lots of other people with previous entry problems, but they all seem to be broken links unable to access genuine entries, rather than trying to link to entries that don’t even exist. Thanks in advance!
