    Heres what I’ve successfully done:

Created a template, set up mail configuration to 5 posts every Friday, set up Cron Job at cPanel and set up command correctly. Everything looks to be set up correctly.

I want to preview the email and when I do it only shows my format (minus the 5 most recent posts). I’d like to see the preview including both the template and the last 5 posts. Will a preview do that normally?

I sent a test email to myself with the same results. The email I received had the right subject in the subject line, the right template but did not have the last 5 posts included.

Is that normal? Will the posts include themselves when the Cron Job runs on Fridays?

    Trey

My larger concern is that Email Post to Subscribers might be conflicting with my theme and not pulling from the correct page. Maybe. Or it may be just fine when it runs it’s Cron Job on Friday. I just wanted to see a successful test of it before then so all my subscribers don’t get a crap email with no posts shown.

    Hi FPN_Trey,

When you click preview button in Mail Configuration page. it will display the preview as per your configuration. If your configuration is to send latest 5 posts, it will display the latest 5 posts in the preview.

Since you said you want to send email only on FRIDAY. You have to select only FRIDAY in the mail configuration (However you have to run the CRON once every hour). plugin have codes to trigger your email only on FRIDAY as per your configuration.
