• This is in similar to a thread I did find about an issue with previewing themes. In my case I haven’t installed them yet though. I am just going through the options provided by www.remarpro.com when I click Add Theme.

    The Thread:

I have the same issue as in that thread but with just Preview. I did not have this issue I’ll say 2 weeks ago, it could be less. I could search for a new theme and click Preview and see an example of what it would look like if I chose to Install it. I do know that I could install it and would then be able to do a live preview but I’d rather not waste the bandwidth or storage space. I do have a test install locally but still, this did work in the past.

I have tested this on multiple browsers on Windows 10 in both my local install and my live install. Below is a screen shot of the first theme that was listed under Latest. In the other thread they said it might be due to the theme not being compatible with Gutenberg so I figured a brand new theme would be. However every one I tried looked similar where the right side was not formatted.

  • Your screenshot and that other thread are the same: there is no issue. It is working as expected. The Theme Preview site has some content, but it does not always line up with what the theme is doing, for instance, the menu or featured images. So what you are seeing is how that theme will look on minimal content.
But the screenshot in the theme should be attainable with that theme. It’s not necessarily the default.
