    Hi,
I’m using this plugin on two different webhostings for a long time and there was always button in Edit Newsletter page, that is called: “Preview in newsletter theme”.

What is it? What does it should do? The button doesn’t work and it has never been working, is it a bug, or forgotten function?

    Hi kudlav,
the “Preview in newsletter theme” button should work in this way:

    1. select a theme in dropdown field inside “Themes” metabox (under the newsletter main content)
    2. click the “Preview in newsletter theme” button: a new window should open and you can see the preview of the newletter content in the theme you have chosen (be sure to disable the popup block for the site in your browser).

Let us know if it works for you.

    IE 11

When I answered to you, I tried on WP 4.8 and it worked for me.
Today I’ve tried on WP 4.9.1 and the button hasn’t worked. Which WP version are you using?

    Hi,
    now I’m using 4.9.1.

But I’ve using this plugin for more than half of year and it was always broken.
I’v tried to disable all other plugins, but it doesn’t help.

Ok, I will wait, I don’t want to roll back, it’s just a button.

I’ll investigate about it and I’ll try to fix in next plugin release.
    Thanks for the report

@kudlav Do not send the author any login details. It’s never safe and the author can’t make or even imply that access. Asking for that could get the author into real trouble here.

@eventualo I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

Hi Jan, of course I mean well. I’m sorry, thanks for your remark.
Kudlav, please follow the tips by Jan and post here more info, if any.

    Hi,
    thanks a lot for help.
The update fixed this issue, but there was probably something cached, so after cache clearing, the update became applied and finally it’s ok.
And Thank you for you patience.
