• I manage a site for our Video Game publishing company that has individual game posts with a Featured Image at the top of each. In other areas of the site (“Top Games”, “All Games”, “Coming Soon”, “Latest Releases”), you see a preview / thumbnail of that featured image. Without making any changes to the code, these preview images show up now as blue question mark boxes. See link:

I know the image is there because you can click on the box and it takes you to the game post where you can see the featured image. Some help would be much appreciated.

  • I am unsure but it may be because of the link to the image. <img class="thumb" width="304px" height="170px" alt="Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers" src="/home/maximum/public_html/wp-content/uploads/et_temp/Air-Conflicts-123279_304x170.jpg"></img>

Care to change the /home/maximum/public_html/wp_content/ …. to <img class="thumb" width="304px" height="170px" alt="Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers" src="wp-content/uploads/et_temp/Air-Conflicts-123279_304x170.jpg"></img> if that doesn’t work try adding periods, “../” as such to the url “../wp-content/uploads/et_temp/Air-Conflicts-123279_304x170.jpg”

We added periods to the URL and it worked! We were able to see the preview of the change in Firefox, but don’t know how to make this a permanent change. Can’t locate the line of code in the Editor.

Sorry my reply took so long but seems you got it working. ??
