• This started happening 2 weeks ago, I posted a thread, and no one has responded yet.

As you can see the “Foggy Bottom” post doesn’t have a preview image. The culprit: whenever I click the “Add Media” button and add anything to the post. Once I add anything (an image, a video, ect) it gets rid of the preview image.

    My question is why.

    Help fix it, please!

  • Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins and switching to the default twentythirteen theme to start troubleshooting this issue?

If that resolves it, reverse your steps one by one to see what’s causing the problem.

I have. It still doesn’t work with all plugins off.

Could you look at it for me? I could email you my UN and Credentials.

Sorry, these forums only offer help here – you could consider hiring someone if you need additional help:

For troubleshooting, I still see the same site – please deactivate ALL plugins and switch to twentytwelve. If that does not work, you’ll need to rename the plugins folder using FTP, to make sure they are fully deactivated.

Yea, I realize it’s the theme now (it has to be).

I’ll try switching the theme and then renaming the plugins folder using FTP if that doesn’t work.

I’ll let you know when it’s resolved.

Yep, it is the theme. I will warn all–Spotomoto by InkThemes does not currently work with displaying preview images when one inserts more than one wordpress media element.

WPyogi: thanks for all the help.
