    Hi there,

I am having an issue with the WP Job Manager plugin whereby the ‘preview’ button doesn’t seem to be present when a job has been initially saved as a draft and then you back into ‘edit job’. This means that ultimately jobs cannot be submitted in these circumstances.

The ‘preview’ button (leading to submit) does show and work as normal in the original ‘post job’ form – only if you go ahead and preview > submit straight away without saving a draft and coming back to it at a later time.

Are there any suggestions as to why this might be the case e.g. a setting I may have missed which is causing this or otherwise? As far as I am aware there should not be any custom code preventing the button from showing in that particular scenario.

    Thanks,

    Jon

    Hi Jon ( @jon10d )!

I couldn’t reproduce this behavior on my test site. I created a job, saved the draft, and then click on the Continue Submission link in the Job Dashboard like this: https://d.pr/i/QTi2wH
The Preview button was there and I was able to submit the job.

Is that how you’re trying to edit the job draft?

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply! That is correct, I have taken screenshots of the two different scenarios:

    1. Posting a job in the first instance through the ‘post a job’ form https://ibb.co/34Yz0xL

    2. Accessing the edit job(continue submission) link having saved the job as a draft initially and the resulting options on the edit draft screen.

I notice you used the default theme to check this, which does spark my curiosity to whether there is in fact something in the theme after all which hides the ‘submit’ button in these circumstances.

    Hey @jon10d !

Thanks for the screenshots. That looks strange indeed so I would suggest you try out the usual debugging steps first:

    * Try switching the theme to Twenty-twenty
    * Try disabling other plugins to see if any of them is causing a conflict
    * Check if you have any custom code or snippets that could be causing problems

Let us know what you found!
