Prevents oversized images and saves time

Users on misc websites I manage tend to upload pictures directly from their cameras, then insert the full size image into posts, which then load slowly due to the large number of pixels in modern camera (I even see this on some large sites). Not only does EWWW prevent this, but it makes it easy to optimize images already in the database.
