  • Just noticed this post and wanted to share my experience with conditional widgets. There are very few out there that are compatible with every other plugin. I tried a bunch, I had a specific widget that would just not accept any.
Then I tried Widget Logic, stuck with it ever since. Still not found any plugin that would not work with it.

I’ve used Conditional Widgets with lots of other plugins, and this is the first time it hadn’t worked. I’ve tried Widget Logic Visual, but didn’t like it – Conditional Widgets is much easier to set and control.
I’ll have a look at Widget Logic – thanks for the tip, kisshomaru.

My preferred conditional widget plugin is Widget Logic. Not pretty, perhaps, but works great.

Frankly, I can’t see any reason why CTMW wouldn’t work with any such plugin. There’s nothing very special about CTMW, it hooks in to the widgets_init hook just like any other widget plugin.
