Preventing Text Formatting

How do I prevent a post from being converted to HTML? That is, I have a complex table and don’t want it to be touched in any way. So, line breaks should not result a <br>, etc.

If you are familiar with MT, there I turn this off be selecting ‘None’ under Text Formatting.

Any way?
