    Hi,

Is there any way to prevent my site from submitting the form until the payment is received (some kind of IPN listener)? I am using another plugin which sends a webhook upon form submission, and it is firing even though the payment is not complete, meaning that users can technically access the product for free.

    Thanks

    Hi @unlockdo,

This is a feature of the Pro version: https://wpplugin.org/downloads/contact-form-7-paypal-add-on/ – you can only send the email after a successful payment.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Hi Scott, I’m not sure this fully addressed OP’s question and I’m also looking for a similar answer. It seems clear that we can suppress the email until payment is sent, but what about suppressing other actions? For example, OP is using a webhook plugin, or I am using plugins like Google Sheets Integration or CFDB7 that stores the form submission in a database. However, I’d like to have it not submit to Google Sheets until the payment has been made, or have it not store in the WP CF7 database until payment is made.

Unfortunately we don’t have support for other actions such as Google Sheets Integration as of yet. This feature would have to be custom developed but we will tag this as a plugin improvement and hopefully integrate this in the future. Thanks!
