I have installed the poll on the attached page. For some reason if there is a error, like exceeding the amount of allowable choices, when you hit the submit button the browser scrolls to the op of the page and the error message is not evident to the user. Can it not do that?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello

You can disable this behavior by editing your poll and on Options->Poll page set “Location for Notifications” to “Bottom”.

I am including a screenshot with the setting below

    Location-for-Notification

    Hope this helps.

Thank you for your quick response. I am not having an issue with where the error message displays. I am having an issue when you submit the poll but there is an error.

My poll is down the page a bit as you can see here https://wordpress-1181144-4770622.cloudwaysapps.com/food/. So, if you vote (select) for more than three choices and press the Click to Vote button, the whole page scrolls up to the top and the user has no idea what just happened. You can give it a try and you’ll see what I mean.

Also, if I buy the upgraded version is there an option for multi-part polls? Meaning same poll but more than one question and possible answers.

    Hello

When you click on the vote button and there is an error, the plugin will scroll to the section where the notification message is being displayed(useful when you have a long poll).
However, in some cases(like yours) it will scroll to the top of the page.

To prevent this behavior, you can set the notification section to be displayed at the bottom of the poll.

Regarding pro version, yes, you can have multiple questions and answers within the same poll.
Please contact us on our website if you have any other questions regarding pro version.

    Thank you.

I do have the notification set to bottom, but it still scrolls to the top of the page putting the notication out of view for the user to see.

Thanks for answering my other question.

I just ran a test and the notification was displayed at the bottom of the poll and there was no scrolling.

Can you clear your browser cache or try in incognito?

If you select more than the allowed 3 answers and submit the form, it scrolls right to the top of the page. Tried it in 3 different browsers, cleared caches on all and even tried incognito.

I just did a test and I was able to replicate the issue you’re having.

We will address this issue and release a new version containing the fix.

    Thank you.
