When I try to update any plugin, I receive this message –

    “Ai1ec_Outdated_Addon_Exception thrown

The add-on All-in-One Event Calendar Extended Views by Time.ly must be updated to at least version 1.1.3 to maintain compatibility with the core calendar.

If you do not see update notices below, ensure you have properly entered your licence keys. Alternatively, navigate to your account to download the latest version of the add-on(s) and update manually. Please post in the forum if you have trouble. We are happy to help.”

I get what that means, but why haven’t I received a plugin update notification for it? I’m on 1.1.2 now. So, um, how do I update it manually? Thanks!

Hi, in the settings page there should a page called “Licenses” under add on. Have you entered the license code you got when you downloaded extended views?

Oh, It appears I haven’t! It’s one of the free add-ons. How do I get a license key for it?

    Thanks,
    Seth

I just viewed my original download receipt, and it does not come with a license #. I can’t find where on the website one would retrieve it. I did look.

Yeah, unfortunately you can’t enter the license as the extension is didsabled and fields are hidden. We need to fix this. For now you should update manually

do you have an account on time.ly?

I thought I had an account on it. I must have had one in order to download the plugin, but what I thought was the login credentials isn’t working. I could start a new account…

Hi, no nothing should be lost. It’s probably safer to do a db back up though ??

I did that. It no longer thinks I have the add on, I get a broken agenda view. I have mere minutes to fix this before other plans. Help?

    Thread Starter mediaseth

    (@mediaseth)

It doesn’t let me enter the license anywhere because the “add-ons” drop down menu in settings is gone! Help!?

Panic #2. I had to activate the plugin again. My bad. However, stream view now looks radically different. It looks awful. I need to figure out how to get it to look the way it did before with the smaller images and the rounded corners around it..

I must be the most pain in the you know what customer. I reset stream view to default and it fixed it. Why it was temporarily broken, though, I’ll never know.

Maybe it’s useful as a heads up to other customers in the same boat to remind after they manually update the app, to activate it and reset to defaults for certain things.. my site needed a “wake up” to realize the app was back after I deleted it from the plugins.
