Is that with your current theme? What if you disable all your other plugins, what happens then?

The only other plugin is BackupBuddy. Happens even with Twentyfourteen theme.

The recalculate functions in slideshow.calculation.js are changing the photo size to match the next div up’s container size. This then covers up the background.

Need patch from Stefan for this one I think!

Hi, unfortunately at the present @stefan is completing his college studies and will not be able to work on the plugin for a bit.

Plan B – shouldn’t one of the settings prevent recalculation? I’m getting familiar with the code but am late on this project. Should I just nip out all of the recalculation calls?

Hi have you tested the latest version?

Let me ask you – did you change the code relating to this problem?

Here’s a test page showing it, with the current version of everything: https://test.bitwombat.com.au/slideshow-test/

I can send wp admin details over chat or email (not here).

    Hi,

Thank you for posting a link to your website.

I see what you are trying to achieve, but using a background image as border effect on an image slide may not be possible. The slideshow plugin does allow CSS borders to be drawn around slides and images.

The latest version of the slideshow plugin (version 2.2.22) does not attend to your problem. I’m currently unable to solve this issue in the slideshow’s calculation code.

    Best regards,
    Stefan
