• Hello,

Upon first visit of my blog page (no cache), my comment form shows the placeholder text for Name and Email. However, after typing a Name, Email, filling out the comment and hitting Submit, WordPress will always retain the Name and Email that was inputed by the user. Only way to clear it is a complete empty cache.

I really need to know how to prevent this, it is not okay to retain a users email address when they submit a comment on a public computer.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Really? No one? I would think that this would be something more people would complain about. I can see so many problems with WordPress automatically remembering your comment info.

    Help is seriously appreciated.

This is a browser issue – not a WordPress one.
