Prevent user from adding new page?

    The plugin works very well for restricting users to editing a single page. Unfortunately, it allows users to create a new page. How do I remove that capability or at least remove “Add New” from the sidebar?

    Capability Manager Enhanced does not actually provide for page-specific editing permissions. You must have another plugin involved in that configuration. As for limiting page creation, you need to impose a “create_pages” capability requirement. One quick way to do so involves the Press Permit Core plugin. Enable the following setting: Permissions > Settings > Core > Filtered Post Types > “Use create_posts” capability.

    Then use Capability Manager Enhanced to assign the capability to desired roles. Note that the post type switches under “Filtered Post Types” can be enabled to make the capability requirement specific to the post type.
