I use a plugin to provide random links to posts on the Discussion page on my managed WordPress site hosted by GoDaddy, and I use JetPack basic. My WordPress dashboard does not offer the “Performance” feature under WordPress Settings, so I can’t block that page from caching that way. The Discussion page displays random links on the first visit, but then it doesn’t on refresh. I assume the page is being cached. Is there a way in JetPack to prevent a single page from being cached?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hey @dan-bruce – could you please share the screenshot of the link that you are referring to on the page?

With Jetpack, we don’t have a feature to remove the page from the cache. Also, could you please let us know which plugin you are using and the reason for displaying random links on the first visit? We may try to find some solution once you provide us with details. ??

The page on my website where I want random links to appear is: https://goodnewsforjews.org/discussion/ The randomization only works on the first visit. I would like to prevent that single page form being cached (I am assuming that is the problem). WordPress instructions say that if you have a specific page of your website you wish to exclude from caching, you can add it to Performance>Page Cache>Advanced>Never Cache following Pages. However, I don’t have that “Performance” option on my managed WordPress site dashboard, so that’s why I was wondering if there is a setting in JetPack to keep that single page from being cached. Thanks.

Hey @dan-bruce – Jetpack doesn’t have a feature for that but looking at the options that you have mentioned “Performance > Page Cache > Advanced > Never Cache” – it appears it is related to the W3 Total Cache plugin as it matched with this forum topic so if you have W3 Total Cache plugin plugin installed, you can follow those option to disable the cache.

Or alternatively, you can download our WP Super Cache plugin, which is very simple to use, and there you can ignore any page from the cache by going to Settings ? WP Super Cache ? Advanced. You can check the detailed steps here.
