Prevent same slug to be used multiple times

    Hi,

    When adding a new link or editing an existing one, it is possible to manually enter a slug that is already in use.

    I would suggest checking for the existence of the slug before saving a link, and either throw a warning or prevent saving.

    If this behavior is on purpose, maybe adding the option to pause links would allow better management.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Generally, we don’t allow the creation of a duplicate slug but at this moment we are checking only while creating a short link but not for editing an existing link.

    We will work on this and incorporate this feature.
