Hi. I’ve looked through all of the forums and am unable to find a solution to this. iPage is our hosting provider and has SQL limits that reset to zero every hour. When we exceed our limit, the website always redirects to xxx.com/wp-admin/install.php. This is a crappy deal for our end users.

Is there anyway around this? Perhaps redirect to a ‘Website is under maintenance’ page?

    Many thanks.

Perhaps change your host or ask iPage to raise your database usage quota.

iPage won’t do it for the hosting plan we are on. So there’s no hack to prevent the end-user from seeing the wp-admin/install.php?

At the point this happens, WP is broken so you’re out of luck.

Find another host. No miracle “hack” can save you.
