Is there a way to disable the page scrolling that happens when clicking on a numbered button or prev/next in the pagination links? The default behavior has the page jumping up and down any time one of those is clicked, and makes for a more confusing user experience.

  • Hi, thank you for using Document Library Lite. I apologize for the delayed response. We had some trouble with our notifications and missed some new threads.

The plugin has a “Scroll offset” feature that you can set to control how much the plugin scrolls when navigating to a new page. This can also be disabled (set to false). Just add the scroll_offset option in your shortcode.

    Example – [doc_library scroll_offset=”35″]

To disable it, set the option to false. Example – [doc_library scroll_offset=”false”]

You can learn more here – https://barn2.com/kb/document-library-controls/#scroll-offset

Please look into it and let me know if you have further questions.

Thank you, the scroll_offset=”false” is what I needed. I would recommend that be the default, as it makes no sense for there to be a link offset while clicking on the pagination links.

You’re welcome! I’m glad the solution with scroll_offset="false" worked for you and addressed the issue you were facing with the pagination links. Thank you for sharing your feedback and suggestion regarding the default behavior.

If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you in any way we can.
