    Hi wlingke,

There is not an easy way to do that right now, and I am not sure if it’s a good idea to do that. Users these days are very quick to label your pop-up as obtrusive if it’s blocking your content, which is why we make it easy to close the box using either one of those three options:

    – Clicking the X
    – Pressing ESCAPE
    – Clicking anywhere outside of the box.

Now, can I ask why you want to make it hard to close the box? Is it with the user in mind?

What we could do is add a certain error margin, which means the box does not close if clicking within a 200px radius of it. This will make it harder to close the box by accident.

    Good idea?

    Hi there,

I’m mostly considering it because its easily to accidentally click out of it – then the user wouldn’t see the box again for a very long time depending on the cookie setting.

The margin would be a good idea! Could you make it a dynamic variable that we can set?
