Prevent excerpt from being generated automatically if field is empty

Hi all,
I would like to deactivate the function in Yoast SEO to automatically generate an excerpt of a post if the field is empty in the post itself, specifically not fetching it from the “post_content”.
Please help me to achieve this. Thanks a lot in advance!
